My daughter has read somewhere about the cat species and asked me if I knew the differences between a cheetah and a leopard, and honestly I didn’t really know. She then became so excited to tell me what she’s learned about cats, cheetahs and leopards and how to tell them apart. I’ve just taken the kids to see the Lion King (2019 film) in the theater. It is a photorealistic computer animated remake of Disney’s traditionally animated 1994 film. Right after that, we watched the Lion King I (the original animation) and the Lion King II – Simba’s Pride at home again, and we had a really great movie day and night! While technology has made the 2019 release feel so real, watching the original animation did have something special, that’s hard to describe.
The kids still have a couple days left until their new school year starts, so I’ve made them some Lion King characters coloring pages, including images of Mufasa, Sarabi, Simba, Nala, Pumbaa, Timon, Rafiki and more. My kids like them and hope yours do, too.
